Internships

Although Hoipolloi are a small company, we aim to host at least one work placement per year. In the past, our internships have started between July and September and lasted for about one year.

Interns work in the Hoipolloi office for three to four days per week, attending to a wide range of production, marketing and administrative tasks. We try and make the internship fit around the individual, allowing them to develop their own interests and skills wherever possible and, if they wish, finding a role for them in rehearsals and ongoing creative processes.

Any vacancies will be advertised on the blog and via our mailing list. But if you are interested in the position, feel free to write to us and we will make sure you are contacted when we open applications.

Performers / Designers / Technicians / Crew

In general, Hoipolloi creates its shows with a core ensemble of performers, designers and technicians with whom we’ve worked with for several years. As all are vital to the research, development and creation of any show, we decide who we work with well in advance of any tour.
